Sorry just excited! We've decided after all the stress we've had we want an ultra casual Wedding. So we want a simple elegant civil ceremony, with champagne and wedding cake toast straight after, thinking for some sort of boat ride with our guests then an evening meal with zero formality but lots of photos and laughs. Found through Trip Advisor a highly rated Pathos restaurant. All the reviews say they do so much for you and you are treated like family. Went to their website and the outdoor dining area is set within vineyard gardens. Looks so pretty at night all lit up and if the grapes are ripe you are welcome to help yourself. Just spoke with 1 of the owners through facebook and she was lovely. She asked what colours we were having and said her sister would make fans for our guests with our wedding colour flowers for free. Food is very reasonably priced. We can order from the normal menus or if theres anything specific we want to eat they will get it in. Also she said they will keep the carafes of wine full. When I asked for prices for the wine she said no extra cost for wine, just pay for the meals as normal. The lady also said if we wanted to go in a few days before for a coffee and a chat she will make us some of her homemade honey yogurt to take away with us. They sound so warm and welcoming and just what we want. xxx

This all feels so much nicer and more us. xxx

She also said if we visit a day or two before we can have a tour of the kitchens and also watch the wine being made. lol how many places let you look around their kitchens! xxx

the thing i'm looking forward to after the wedding is just spending the warm summers evening with my friends and family no need to make time to mingle etc

i think i've been to the waterfall before on a tour its beautiful i think i've just annoyed h2b went on the link and watched the vid and got excited and starting dancing to the music its brilliant lol argh i cant wait!!! do you know prices for the bus? xx

No I am going to make an enquiry. We hope to do it probably a day or two after as I think it may take too long on our wedding day. Not sure. Looking through all the trip advisor reviews to get more info. Looks like it could appeal to the different ages of family going. xx P.S My toddler was dancing to the music on the video by bending his knees and doing bum wiggles! lol xx

Not so sure yet. It depends on where Steve wants for a ceremony venue, if its going to be a hotel we will probably go through a planner. If we go through the town hall my uncle used to be a solicitor so said he would get info on whats to be done and when and sort it for us. Though personally I would prefer a planner as they are well versed in it all. xx

Oh just noticed on trip advisor that they make a DVD of your day out on the fun bus and give it you the day after. I think that would be a lovely momento, definately doing this one way or another. xx

You can go up into the mountains and there is a fab camp site of all things there they do huge cook out and its so so stunning - might be worth a ride up just for a look as the area is so pretty

We hired a car and bogged off into the mountains - only problem was there had been a storm the day before we arrive on Cyprus and there had been a few landslides so the road were fun to say the least

Dee I wanna come!!!! Sounds fab! We have been having mega talks about going abroad again and it is all your fault ha ha. It just sounds so wonderful! We have come to terms with not doing it due to parental issues (you so know what I mean!) ha ha x

One thing about having it abroad tho hun is, if you are anything like my aunt, who has terrible pain in this country, when shes goes on holiday after a few days in the sun she starts feeling so much better. The warm weather does wonders for some. I will shut up now in case it causes any more mega talks for you. xxx

Crocadillo - the impression I got from the lady from the restaurant was that weddings are something to treasure and they feel honoured by having couples choose their venue to celebrate that special day with them. She was thrilled we had children coming with us and said they will be treated like their own! lol xxx
