gem, ive sent something to topgear (another bbc program) so i'll let you know if i get a reply. most clubs,shows, individuals etc take between 4 weeks and 4 months to reply. Already got a signed photo of jenson button for h2b :)

i wrote to liverpool and had one back the following week, what i will say to all the lovely ladies on hear getting them for their H2B dont do what i did and order one way in advance, i ordered the first one last year and the team has now compleatley changed due to the transfer window, Liverpool were lovely and like i said i sent mine end of Jan (end of transfer window) and had it back a week later, good luck ladies xXx

h2b was with me, he wouldnt leave me alone cos i was doing my passport too and asked what it was! i said it was a certificate from when i was at college that i never received so had to send off for it. He wasnt happy that i had to pay for the envlope and the postage back haha!! I think he was convinced!

My Hubby collects autographs through the mail and says the best way to get them is to do things a bit out of ordinary so write to training grounds and stadiums instead of head offices agencies are a good place for non sports stars if they are appearing live in stage shows write to the theatres if we can help anymore drop me a message xx

i contacted Arsenal via email and I got a reply within half an hour! I was really surprised.
I just have to write them a letter 6 weeks before the wedding and they will send us a congratulations from the manager which I know H2B will love!! :)

for any of you girlies thinking of contacting football clubs, bear this in mind. the transfer window starts at end of season until 31st aug but the chances of the big teams i.e. man u, liverpool, chelsea etc apparently dont do alot of buying or selling. so if anyone is thinking of writing to clubs for signed memorabilia this is the window i believe to work on.
man u state it takes six weeks for your request to be completed, but liverpool dont give a timescale.
i only know the above, as i was going to order h2b liverpool cert today, but after speaking to my brother re transfer windows i am going to hold back and hope (fingers crossed) i can sort it in time.

got h2b thing from topgear back and am disappointed for two reasons:
1) h2b decided to be nosey and opened my post so hes seen it ( have given it to him now) 2) its rubbish! ok so it only cost me a stamp and an envelope but its not even worth that! its a photocopy of an old picture with their names signed on it but the names are copied too. its not even printed on glossy paper just a bit of plain old A4. could have done it better myself by finding a pic of their sig's on the net and pasting them onto a photo of them

i emailed chelsea last week and got a letter, card and photo thru the post within a week. it was very quick but have now told my h2b about it as i thought it was quite naf. i thought the idea was brilliant and i was so excited but all the signatures are prints and everything came torn and dog-eared.
will have to think of something else now, dammit!!

the transfer window opens at the end of june, i have now had two from liverpool as i was so excited last year i asked for ne and then i rememberd lol, now i have a nice new up to date oe, it only took a week to come back to me :-)

Well, second surprise of the day... Emailed Aston Villa last week and got an auto reply saying due to the numbe rof emails they receive they can not respond to any individual requests. So, I thought I'd had it. Until.... Today! I just received an email from the club asking for postal address so they could send on something to wishe H2B a very happy wedding day! Can't wait to get whatever it may be!
