I'v actually never been, but after that city scare I had last time, Trafford seems like a breeze. Still not got April shifts tho so I'm hanging fire on commiting.

the wedding fayre is april 17 and is supposedly full of new ideas and suppliers and not what they have always recommended.

the wed co-ord just concerns me slightly as she seems a bit lacks-a-dazical in her attitude.

i.e. originally we were having the full ceremony there but due to finance we are now getting wed at swinton, and having reception there. when we first asked if this was achievable it was her idea of a 'joke' to say no! im still waiting for the punchline...
i then received a letter saying a payment had been missed and we had broken the T & Cs of our contract, except the only contract we received was attached to aforementioned letter.

i then went to pay 1K of the bill and she kept on insisting she didnt want to take this much from me. i finally had too tell her CLEARLY we wanted to pay this and i will be paying it.

i even received a schedule from her of the days running order and she had even tried to charge me for a DJ in the billing box, where above it clearly said we had sourced our own.

i have to triple check everything from her which just adds to my workload.

your venue brings back some really good memories. i used to work on eccles new road and the company used to arrange corporate events there, which for the staff was a massive bonus as we got a free bar and chance to let our hair down. oh happy days!

Ok ladies, we are supposed to be meeting this sunday... anyone have any idea where we are supposed to be meeting... Im thinking that if we go to the trafford centre and the weather is this nice, its going to be a waste of a sunny day!

If I'm honest it doesn't look brilliant for parking if driving in, and trains aren't fantastically frequent on a Sunday for me, although they do at least go into Oxford Road instead of Picadilly on a Sunday (no idea why...!). But it's doable.

Depends where everyone is coming from as to what might be easiest to get to...... I'll shut up and see what the others think :-)

Oh it's just a little saying - each time you post a new message on a discussion, it pops up to the top of the list of discussions - often called "bumping" it up to the top, so if you want to post something on a discussion just so others can see it on the first page of the list, but don't have anything new to actually say on the discussion, often they just say "bump" :-)

We live in Stretford with my 3 girls who are 16, 10 & 7 and his son (some of the time) who's 13.
