My fiance and I are getting married next May. We are having a DIY wedding and so rather than a sit-down meal, want to get a fish 'n' chip or burger van. Has anyone done this? What kind of cost are we looking at? Ideally we don't want a "wedding package" - we want it to be more like a festival feel, so people go and buy food as and when they are hungry! Thanks!

I'm not sure on costs. It may be worth asking a local company. If you want guests to go and buy food would you be asking them to pay for it too? If you would be paying it you could create a meal token to ensure they only have one meal. If not there may not be enough for everyone.

Yes the best thing is to contact local companies for quotes. If you are wanting guests to pay for their own food as they go there might not be much of a cost to you as the van will make their money from the guests.
