For my engagement party my mum is doing all the catering and we would like to put cards on the food so everyone knows what they are eating - We have thought about just using place cards like you use for guests seats, but does anyone have any other ideas (to fit a blue and purple colour scheme)?

How about flags - you could make them yourself out of skewers and coloured paper in your colours? x

We're doing the food for our wedding and because a couple of people there are veggies, we're having little cards on halved kebab sticks, with the sticks dyed to fit in with the theme and butterflies on the cards with what the food is!

Hi try the bay of e they had cheap table cards in the colours you can get a few of each colour xx
What about photographs? You could photograph the food, mount on coloured card and write below what it is! xx

Or if you want it to look a bit wacky/fun you could photograph the fillings etc. For example a picture of a chicken for chicken sandwich! . . . Just an idea ;o)

As a veggie I appreciate anyone who does this so wel done. the cheapest way is to get some inkjet labels and design a print for them then wrap them around cocktail sticks as little flags - cheap as chips and very effective : )
