I love food! the food can be vegetables or pizza and I still love it! However I don't like the hips that go with it so I know what you mean whn you say you're determined but easily fall of the wagon so to speak. firstly congratulations on losing a stone, focus on this rather than what you have left to go. you've lost that much so you're obviously doing something right and need to continue with it. have you thought about joining a slimming club to help you focus on the eating side of things? I'm at slimming world and the good thing is they celebrate small achievements and when you hit a hurdle it makes you mentally stop and think about you're weigh in before buying the crisps. Don't beat yourself up about losing a particular amount of weight either (bet my h2b wants to remind me of this when I complain about still needing to lose 13lbs) because you have plenty of time still. Break it down and if you want to lose 7 stone then that's only roughly 2lb a week until your wedding. That sounds easier doesn't it xx

Have you ever tried hypnotherapy? I am very much like you and just can't keep away from junk food. I find that if I use a hypnotherapy recording specific to weight loss that it definately helps, I don't have cravings and I feel full when I am half way through my plate of food. What I didnt realise at first tho is you do have to listen to the recoding around once a fortnight as although it sounds strange it does seem to wear off after a few weeks. I only suggest this as I have tried many diets and found this to be the only thing that actually helps. xx

I feel your pain. Food is my best friend. When i'm sad it's there to comfort me, when i'm happy it's there to celebrate with me and when i'm bored it's there to occupy me. My worst enemy is me, because i'm the only that turns to food instead of some one that really cares. I went from 25stone to 18st 10 between feb 2010 and feb this year. But then i got complacent and thought i deserved a treat. But instead of treating myself with new clothes or something i could really enjoy. I started with the binges again, i'd drop my eldest daughter at school, go to the shop and buy rolls, cheese, chocolate, donuts and a bottle of fat coke to wash it down with. When i got home it'd all be gone within an hour. Now i weight 21st 4 again and want to loose 7 stone before next september too. If i can do it so can you. You just need to find a source of support that isn't edible lol. If you ever fancy a diet buddy, i'm always happy to lend an ear, especially since we have the same amount to loose in the same time frame. Best wishes, x

We all struggle I think, started Slimming World 14 weeks ago and have only lost 0.5 lbs overall! But must keep trying and have now stepped up the exercise last week as I really want to lose 3 inches off my waist for the wedding!!

What are lipotrim? Like shakes that you replace meals with? I like the idea of using them but realisticly i think i just have to learn how to eat. That's the only way i'm going to loose it, keep it off and be a healthy rolemodel to my two girls. I was looking at hypnotherapy but someone told me about a visualisation technique where you imagine all dirty, nasty stuff in your weakness food. I don't know if this will work because i know that chocolate is all good lol. I did use a similar thing to stop smoking by thinking of my lungs blackening. Maybe i'll think of fat furring up my arteries, urgh.
