I have yet to contact any florists and just looking for an idea for how much flowers could potentially cost. I am making a crystal bouquet for myself and my OH wants to get our junior bridesmaid's artificial flowers so they can keep them but I'll still need:
1x Chief bridesmaid Bouquet 8x buttonholes 2x mother corsages 1x gran corsage Top table arrangement Possibly two pedestals for the end of the aisle.
I've attached flower pics in my albums of the type of thing I would like but mainly ivory roses with ivory gerbera and babies breath.
I will be doing the centrepieces myself but only need one artifical gerbera head for each.
We are getting married 01st March 2014 and are in Scotland if that information makes any difference.
Any rough estimates?

Most florists that I have been to see have quoted between £30-£40 for bridesmaid, £6 for button holes £8.50 for corsage, £40 top table and church pedestal £60 each, check that the flowers you want are in season as if they are out of season they will cost a lot more.

Thanks! I've tried to find what flowers will be in season then but coming up with allsorts! I might just have to go to the various florists around and show them my pictures and ask for quotes.

Thats what I did, I printed off pictures of what I wanted and made appointments with loads of florists, the quotes I have range from £897 to £505, the £897 didn't include delivering the flowers and actually had less included that the £505. THe cheaper lady was lovely, I was sat with her for 2.5 hours, she taught me loads of different things about different flowers, told me what was and wasn't in season and made great suggestions as to what I should use. SHe understood everything that I liked and disliked and she was very honest about the fact that she too disliked all the things I dislike. Her flowers were nicer and fresher than the expensive people and she was doing more for me, just because someone is more expensive doesn't mean that they better so make sure you shop around. One tip she did give me was, that in previous shops she has worked in if she has someone comes into her shop and they sound like they know what they are talking about they will generally get a better price because they would know if they are being charged more, so do your research before you go, sound like you know what you are talking about even if you don't and you might get a better price. x

Thanks for the tip- I will keep that in mind! If they saw how I stick flowers in a vase they would realise I have no clue!!
