Are you having flowers around your reception venue? How about corsages for the mothers of the bride and groom?

Thanks ladies, it's few years away and might have toxins a florist after all as my brother and his Gf are having a break. Which I'm sad for them about not coz it will cost me more money as that's not important at mo. but have a rough list now. Going to see my two chosen venues next month and hope they are within our budget so we can pick our fav one. Then I should know if we'll need more for the reception or not x

We have got my flowers, the bridesmaids flowers, 9 centre pieces, double arch, flowers for outside, 2 thank you gifts for the mums, 3 pots of white hydrangers as thank you presents. 7 Buttonholes, 2 corsages. 9 martini glasses and 8 cream lanterns for outside in the garden and outside the venue.

You also have to remember that some flowers you wont be able to get becuase of the time of year you are getting married. This happened to me and I had my heart set on some flowers I wanted and I couldnt have them.

Do you know what flowers you would like?

check with your church about flowers when we went to see ours he told us not to bother with pew ends as they just get in the way, not to worry about flowers in the church as the church will have flowers in anyway we just have to tell his flower lady what colours we want and it won't cost us a penny.

so we're just having bouquet, buttonholes, corsages, and flowers at the venue

Another alternative for pew ends is large florists bows, the florist would be able to add it to your package

Im not having fresh flowers,Or infact am not getting married in a church but I dont think there is any rule book on flowers u must have! Its totally upto u! I was going to get a table top decoration for the registry office, but decided, I've got a such a big bouquet for myself, it just an expense I probably wont need xx

The only problem with fresh flowers is the time of year so of them are not available I had this problem.

I agree with MrsWearn2be there isnt a rule book on what to have. Our florist gave us a few books to look at and decide from there I have always wanted the men to have calla lillies for the buttonholes.
