I think that quote is crazy. When I got quoted for real flowers they were:
Mine = roses with diamante grasses looped in and around with butterflies on them @ £70.00 Adult bridesmaid = to match mine £40.00 Child bouquet to match@£25.00 flower girl £15.00 2 corsages @ £7.50 each 5 button holes @ £4.95?
I got all of the above in foam roses for £109.00 and they look just as good as real yet will last me for years to come.

You cant beat the smell of real flowers but you never know what state they will be in on the big day, would be heart breaking for ur flowers to go limp. Silk flowers always look good, can re-use them, hand em down, sell em and so on. Me tho im ot having a bouquet, have been grilled for it by like everyone, but nope, im having a clutch bag with a horseshoe (not a real one) and two roses, sounds naff i know but looks stunning

Ive gone for silk, ordered them from a company in australia, absolutely fantastic, yellow cymbidium orchids, they are amazing!!! (postage cost the same as the flowers but heaps cheaper than real and you cant get what I wanted in november!!!)

Hey Aldrige,
That's an awful lot of money hun, if I'm honest it sounds like she is spinning you a line! yeah fresh flowers are expensive but I'm sure what your asking for could be done for a much more reasonable cost. To save money for your table arrangements you could cut down on the number of flowers and opt for a few larger flowers for affect and fill out with foilage (as thats much cheaper). I would really suggest getting another quote hun as I'm sure they could be done for a much more reasonable price. Hope thats helps hun. Give me a shout if I can help further c x
