    Hiya all :)

I have an almost two year old flower girl. Does anyone know what flowers, if any, I am supposed to give her? Or should she just have petals?! I have no clue! She's abit small for a bouquet, it would be destroyed within seconds!!

    Thanks for your opinions :)

She has what you want her to have if thats a basket of petals or a bouquet or even a hula hoop then so be it!

Ive seen a flower girl with a hoop by the way with a few flowers attached to it was stunning hehehe

Anyway my flowergirl with be holding a little bouquet of crystals, the bridesmaids will have flowers and mines a mixture of both (pic in my albums)

My flower girls are 5 & 7 and will be having wands with artificial flowers inside the wand cage. This is because like you my flower girls would destroy anything else lol.

If she is not quite 2 whatever you give her will not necessarily be used in the manner its designed to be lol.Why not get her a little cute bunny/teddy in your wedding colours or with a matching bow around its neck,it might hold her interest longer, she is unlikely to poke herself or someone else in the eye with it and its something she can play with during the service xxx

if you are worried about flowers I would go for a wand, my niece who is my flowergirl is having a basket with petals to scatter but she is 4 1/2. at my brothers wedding she was only 2 so they gave her a wand with an artifical lilly (same as mum's bouquet.) attached and some blue ribbon to match the colour theme wrapped round the handle. she loved it and it looked great.

It is totally up to you and what you want for your day. Anything goes these days!!

I got my 2 1/2 yr old a little wand with a butterfly on from the Bay of E and added some ribbon in our colours!!!! (had a spare just in case she broke it lol) She loved it.
I didnt want to give her petals as they would have ended up on the floor before we had even reached the aisle and as for flowers, she is not the most gental 2yr old and I didnt want then to be battered and picked apart lol xx
I think its what ever you choose for her to have :0) xx

My flowergirl will be two and a half and I had the same problem, so I bought this soft flowerball from Abakhan and added the purple flowers myself which they also sell. It cost me about £6.00 alltogether. My florist suggested a wand but it was metal and I just knew she would be cracking her twin brother with it so I thought the soft option was better lol
