I've been emailing the people who are delivering my flowers of I can do DIY bouquets.

The few days up to the wedding are planned as follows: Monday 29th the flowers arrive and are made up ready to be used, Tuesday 30th travel 200 miles to the venue with the flowers, Wednesday 31st get married. I checked, and their delivery company work mon-fri so it should be fine, but no, the won't deliver on a Monday because that means that they would have to ship on Friday and the flowers will be in transit for 2 days so they won't be fresh. They have offered to deliver on the Friday instead. I'm not sure how they think that will help because if they do that, then the flowers will be sent on Thursday, arrive on Friday, sit in my house for 3 days then go up to Scotland on Tuesday and will most likely be half-dead on the wedding day!

Right now I'm having a long conversation with them about delving on the Monday and why it's in their best interests while simultaneously getting a quote from etsy from a seller who does flowers made from book pages.

Just grrrrrrrrrr! (also, I'm due to go to the doctors to have the new patient checkup where they will test my blood pressure. I may need to warn the nurse that it may be higher than usual)

Ah, that's tricky. Many of our suppliers wont ship on a Friday as you really don't know how things are going to be stored over the weekend. What about asking them for a Saturday delivery? The flowers will be shipped on the same day as they would for a Monday delivery, but at least you'll know how to look after them, rather than them sitting in a truck that could be too hot/cold all weekend.

What time of year are you getting the flowers delivered? If you keep the flowers cold the whole time they might make it to the wedding. Even if you get the flowers on Monday there's a good chance they may wilt depending on the condition they're received in and how they're stored. I might just go for the book bouquets.

The wedding is at the end of October so it will be cool enough to preserve them and they say they only deliver mon to fri :( I'm thinking the book bouquet is my best bet too.

I've seen some book bouquets on Et*y and they are really cute. Plus you can keep them forever.

I've just got a quote from a seller on there. For my bouquet of a dozen, 3 posies of half a dozen and 5 buttonholes plus p&p they are charging me $60 (so about £40 to you and me)

    So happy :)
