not got any quotes yet, but am hoping I can afford fresh now that we are not having as many guests, so not as many table centrepieces needed. Only have 5 tables now including top table. So need 5 centrepieces, my bouquet, 3 BM's and 2 flower girls. And about 10 buttonholes. Will start getting quotes next year

How rude! I'm sure you will find another one that gives you the service you deserve! I went for foam roses in the end so didn't have to worry about a florist and my venue sorts the flowers our as part of the package so I have no idea how much that would have cost us. Best thing to do is shop around.

I have purchased 3 x84 velvet roses (sorry am really bad at maths) and am hoping that there is more than enough for a bridal bouquet, baskets for attendants, button holes and corsages. Total price for those was 106 dollars i think (half was in postage costs)
Baskets for my attendants plus pearl wire and diamonte pins cost me 16. All i will have to pay is my friends mum for her time and effort to do something with them

I'm thankful that my friend is a florist and she will be doing my flowers, I am also using faux flowers for centre pieces that i'm going to make myself to save money but also give it a personal touch that keeps with my theme. :) I've loved using ebay and etsy for ideas and items. If they were rude to you, then it's quite obvious they don't get business if this is how they treat people!! There is no need to be mean!
