Hey!! We went this year in March/April and didn't find out until we got there it was the american's spring break!! We expected it to be crazy but actually the longest we queued for a ride was probably 45 mins, wasnt that bad at all!! It was sooooooo amazing! I would definitely recommend it! We had such an amazing time were finding it impossible to find somewhere better to go for our honeymoon! xx

That said if you go off season there's a good chance you wouldn't wait in any lines. June tends to be pretty busy. Anytime between Labor Day (1/9/14) and Thanksgiving (27/11/14) is a good bet for fewer crowds, but still in hurricane season so you should expect the possibility of rain.

September / October is good out of the school holidays. A lot of things are Halloween themed too which is fun.

Yeah the summer months can be quite humid, but if you're going for the sun then that's when you should be there. Though it's mainly warm all year around

We're also doing Florida for our honeymoon!! We get married 26 May and fly out 28th for 2 weeks! It's before the storm season so should be decent weather, and also not the hottest / most humid . . . Ive only ever been in end of September before and thats been really nice. xx

I'd say in the late spring and definately after Spring Break... I've been many times, in August (hot), Easter (which seemed to be Spring Break) - very very busy but weather is brill as it's hot during the day but cooler (by their standards) and not particularly humid in the evening and in September - which was very very humid and there was a fair ole bit of rain too.... but, whenever you go it's a brilliant place.

Have stayed just outside International Drive (main bit - near all the theme parks) but hotel had shuttle bus so that was excellent - also it's pretty easy to find your way around and have also stayed at a place called Clearwater Beach which was the most amazing place and the Beach was fantastic.

Am so jealous - has been 9 years now since I've been and I'd love to go back :)

    x

We went in the first two weeks of the summer holidays in 2011, I'm a teacher so it's the only time we could go. The parks were very busy but we paid extra for the fast passes and if you can afford it would definately recommend it as we didn't have to queue for anything. Only draw back was the heat, in the hundreds every day but they were having a heat wave at the time, normally around the low 80's i believe. We found the restaurants were not busy at all, they are so big it would take hundreds of people to fill them lol. Hope this helps, Im sooooo jealous. xx

I went to Florida mid-feb and it was really nice, the best tan I ever got.
Us brits arnt used to too much heat are we, so it was perfect for me, but the evenings did get a bit cool, and you needed a
cardigan or something, and you needed the blankets in bed, but daytimes were perfect.
If I went again I might go in April, still nice and warm but possibly wouldnt be so cool at night....

I THINK.....but not entirely sure....but Sept/October may be their hurricane season......???

I would love to go again, its been 7 years since I went and its about time I re-visited.

Hi ZT, sorry for late reply have been away. We paid for fast pass for Universal Studios and Island of Adventure, sea world and busch gardens. Pass for the disney paks (magic kingdom, animal kingdom etc) are all free. We brought them off an american tourist site before the holiday so it didn't eat in to our spending money. xx
