hi ladies, my engagement ring is on my photo's which will help with my enquiry.
I've looked at looooooooooooads of site including good ones ukb have advertised but i just can't seem to find anything that will go, it 9ct white gold so need something that won't look too odd, most the people i've spoken too keep mentioning diamonds but i'm not sure whether they'll just look odd next to a big blue topaz :S and because of it's shape i can really get a good feel of the wedding band next to it.

Have you tried looking online for a company who will make your wedding band for you so that it fits with the shape of your engagement ring and also compliment the colour? xx

have u asked the jewellers their opinion? have u tried a kinda v shaped ring that may fit the shape of urs?
claire/lisa - i've looked online and the custom made ones are a fortune

Hi hun, I was having problems finding a wedding ring to go with my engagement ring as I have a diamon trilogy (pics on profile). I wanted a wedding ring to fit flush with my engagement ring coz I just dont like gaps! lol. So we had smo*ch round on monday and I thought I would go for a diamond wedding ring but I tried a curved plain wedding ring on and it looked stunning with my engagement ring. And they are gonna be taking my engagement ring so they can make my wedding ring fit exact. Is this maybe something you could do? They will pretty much make any ring for you to fit around your enagement ring. You do pay a bit extra but the rings a gaurenteed for life and they will polish them when ever you want as many times as you want.
I am now Mrs Stacey Stiles and loving it!

the only thing i can think of instead of paying for loads for having one custom made is goin around the local jewellers and trying different ones on to see if there are any that could go with it! xxx

Oh and i forgot to mention, they do a monthly payment plan so u can pay it off monthly if its easier that way x

thanks stacey i'll give them a bell and see when i can meet them, i must admit i won't be looking forward to having a naked finger when they do take the ring to fit i'll panic constantly until it comes back checking every sapphire lol

Yeah i know, thats how i feel to hun, but they do use insured courrier to transport the ring. I know that probably wont make u feel any better though coz I will be stressing as well, lol. But Im so fussy so I suppose thats what has to be done x

Have a look in my profile pics at my E ring, then in the same folder (I think) there's a sketch of my wedding ring. As you'll see, my E ring is possibly the most awkward shaped ring you can get! There was no chance of me not getting a custom made ring. The guys we used were fantasic though. They were really aware of budgets and never pushed us to get this or get that, which would bump up the price. In fact, they said to my H2B that he should avoid the platimum ring he was planning on and get palladium which was over 4 times cheaper!!! They're based in Hatton Gardens (sounds like they're dead posh and will cost a fortune, but they have a very small office and workshop just off Hatton Gardens itself) and if you'd like their details, let me know and I'll post on your wall. x

that's an absolutely amazing ring see what you mean about awkward to match, i take it the guys you used require you been in london as i live in durham so it's a canny trek and a half but if you post there details on my wall anyway i'm sure i can make a wee trip out of it hehe

You could start with emailing or calling them - it's Janine and Ben, by the way - a Husband and Wife team - and explain about your location. I'm in South London and work near to where I live so it's been tricky to get into 'town' to see them. Janine has emailed me scanned pics of her designs, so I think it could be done. I love my ring!!! But am already missing it and it only went back to tiffany's yesterday afternoon! It's gone in to get two little beads put in the inside to stop it swivelling :( It'll be gone for 3 weeks - boooo!
