Hi admin, please can you post this query on your facebook page?
Hi ladies! I've bought a fishtail wedding dress, and am looking for some advice on wearing a hoop/no hoop! I've tried it with a hoop, which makes it much easier to walk in (and stops the layers of tulle underneath getting stuck around/between my legs and ankles), but I really don't like how the base of my dress looks more circular with the hoop. I made the hoop smaller, but it's still noticable... And no hoop makes the dress very hard to walk in... has anyone used any other alternatives? Thank you!

I don't think hoops are designed for that style of dress as whole idea is it's like a fish tail! I'd definitely say without a hoop due to style.

I think for fishtail dresses there is a specific type of hoop you can get. It isn't like the normal hoops where it is a few loops in some material, it follows the shape of the dress and has some netting and a really small hoop at the base. If you search online and look at images you can see the difference in the types of underskirts, I hope that helps.

I think they can usually take some of the tulle out just around your feet to make space for your feet to move underneath without changing the shape of the bottom of the dress

I have an aline dress so its different but a hoop didnt suit it, they used a tulle petticoat which gave it natural shape but still held it in place and its really easy to walk in, try that :)
