Wedding Forum - First Wedding Nightmare... Eek!...

I had so many, I cannot remember them now. I know I was getting married and our photographer was nowhere to be seen.

I had my first wedding 'nightmare' a few weeks ago! I dreamt that for some reason I was hiring my dress as opposed to buying it, and something went wrong somewhere down the line which meant I wasn't actually able to put the dress on until well into the evening, and I was paying a lot of money for the hire and was really angry that I still had to pay the same amount even though I was only getting a couple of hours' wear out of it.

Then I went down to the wedding breakfast and there was literally only 5 of our guests sat there... the rest of our guests were in another room of the venue having a party but we didn't know, we thought they'd just left, so then when I found out I was really angry that they were having a party without me!

I had quite a few at the beginning of this journey and I've had a couple now that is coming to the end.

Some involving my parents who are not in my life and some involving things not done or I've arrived a day early.

I've had a few where I woke up in floods of tears and left me shaken for a day or two but my OH has been fantastic and reminding me why I am getting married. They day could come to a complete meltdown around me but as long as I am married to the man I love I know that it went perfect.

I haven't had any proper wedding nightmares but I do have thoughts of what if I leave it too late to send paperwork off or notify people ect x

my nightmare always involves my grandma deciding she's not coming or walking out when she finds out we are already actually married and she wasnt invited to the legal wedding my grandma can be very mean and does not know how to put this delicately or even keep her mouth shut when things don't need to be said (she's called me the worse names possible in the past) fingers crossed she actually behaves herself on the day xxx

I think my best wedding dream was that me and OH found out I was pregnant the night before we got married. So I rushed around making up little cards in the same design as our stationary.

On the day of the wedding, after the ceremony, we gathered parents and sisters and said we have a secret to share but you cant tell anyone else at the wedding. Then gathered them all around us and gave them the card for them to open at the same time and made it a photo opportunity :)

I thought it was lovely and makes me want to do it if it does happen. We aren't trying for a baby yet or planning on having one before married but if it happens I think its a lovely idea!

I have had loads. All different scenarios.

I dreamt that as a couple people were late into the dining room, the venue decided that we no longer wanted a sit down meal and decided to set up blankets on the floor with sandwiches.
I woke up in a hot sweat lol
