Everyone knows I love a bargain and purchased loads of things for my wedding off the good old bay. I have never actually sold something on the bay so I suppose I am a bay virgin in that respect lol Just posted my wedding dress and have 4 watchers lol it's a bit exciting. Hope it sells. I would love someone else to feel as special as I did in the dress on their wedding day xxxx

The only thing I would say is be prepared for the charges that come afterwards from both ebay and paypal. Its gutting at how much they take from you.

Yeah I have it on gumtree and am just about to put it on pre loved too. I am not wanting to make a load of money out of it ..after all it wasn't expensive in the first place. I just want someone else to have a lovely day and not have to break the bank to do it. xxxx I wouldn't want to be ripped off so wouldn't rip anyone else off either. xxx

I think that is lovely of you to do that. Just a word of warning is that you can't cancel an ebay ad once someone has bid on it so if you do sell it on gumtree then you get a bid you are legally obliged to sell to the ebay bidder.

i had paid for a bridesmaid dress on ebay and then had an email off the seller saying she had come to parcel it up and had noticed a tear she hadn't noticed before. She offered it me for less or a full refund. i opted for the full refund. In hindsight do you think i was naive and that she had sold it for more elsewhere??
