HI everyone. Exciting news! We going to see venue today for first time. Am very nervous and excited! I know we will love it but worried we won't be able to afford it :( I Have a long list of questions we are going to ask them and wondered if I Have missed anything??

    - does the venue include the registra, or do we need to organise this?
    - will ours be the only wedding on our wedding day?
    - how many people can you accommodate?
    - disabled access?
    - do you allow confetti to be thrown?
    - do you allow candles to be lit in the ceremony room?
    - are there any bedrooms above the dancefloor?
    Room
    - are there seperate rooms provided for ceremony, reception etc?
    - is there a room provided for the use of the bride and groom for the day?
    - when can we have access to begin setting up the room in terms of decorating? (Morning of the wedding, day before etc)
    - how many rooms are available. Costs for overnight accommodation? Is breakfast included? What is check out for following day? Discounts for booking two nights?
    - are cots/highchairs available?
    Catering
    - do you insist on doing all the catering?
    - can you provide examples of suggested menus along with prices?
    - do you have a preferred order of service?
    - what time do you offer an alcohol license till?
    - do you insist on supplying wine and champagne? Do you have corkage fees?
    - what are the various costs and options for the use of your venue?

So that's what I Have, do you think I Have missed anything important??

(Sorry for the typos, using my phone!)

Thanks in advance for any help or tips on getting the price as low as possible! We are hoping to have the whole wedding there and Have family coming from Scotland so most of their rooms will be booked.

Thanks Lilmisschuckles, our friend is doing the djing for us as our wedding gift :)

I am just panicking now that I won't know what to say to them and end up agreeing with everything, and booking a wedding I can't afford to pay for! Lol

I have just bumped a thread for you that had lots of questions to ask. It's called questions to ask your venue. Might be worth you having a look through it. xx
