bit nervous, dont really know what to go for, i only ever wear make up when going out for the eve so dont want much. what sort of thing is everyone else going for? x

i'm going for natural makeup as everyone thinks i will go for the full face as i usually do, but due to crying dont want to look like a panda xx Get her to try a couple of different looks take photos then decide, but just enjoy the pampering xx

if you dont wear make up much i would stick with the natural look. i wear mascara, eyeliner, blusher etc every day for work so i am having grey smokey eyes on the day with fake eyelashes as it won't look like me if i don't have much make up on! people always says i look ill with no make up lol x

I've just found my make up artist. She's really lovely and charges £45 for me including the trial and £25 per bridesmaid, what do you think? does that quote sound right? Also, is it bad luck for the groom to see me after the trial as I thought I'd combine it with a special night out but then it wouldn't be so much of a suprise on the big day, what does everyone think?? x
Hi Mrscarter2b, that sounds really reasonable! Some charge silly money, if you're happy with the makeup and like the person its great. You have to trust them.
I did take my makeup off after - but that is down to personal choice, but if he sees your makeup done nice for a nite out its not the same as having your full outfit on :-)
I don't wear foundation usually so was nice to have someone put a good quality one on and it evened my skin out. I usually wear eyeliner pencil each day with my makeup but she did such a lovely natural but polished look surprisingly mascara was enough. She's going to tint my eyelashes too and tidy my brows. xx

Thans for that Dee, I don't wear much make up and not very confident when applying it so thought it would be a good way also of getting tips on ways to enhance my best bits. I think I will take my make up off afterwards as I want it to be total suprise when scott sees me for the first time walking down the aisle.

had the 1st trial, jus went over what i wanted and tried out colours etc. i am going for very light browns with thin liquid eyeliner and short individual lashes. not got phots as had one eye one colour and the other eye a different coulour, lol. will be having another trial at the end of january so will have pics then :)

yes it was really good thank you. my make up artist is my sisters best friend so i have known her for years so felt really comfortable with her, and she gave me her honest opinion :) x

Perfect, I'll have to get friendly with a make up artist lol having said that, my best friend (and moh)'s sister is a dab hand with make up - i'm sure I could rope her into sorting it out if necessary, she may as well make herself useful hey lol x
