we are having snow patrol chasing cars as our first song - its the first song we both realised we both loved,when it came on in the car on our first date?????
We are also thinking about elbow - one day liek this and the she's always a woman to be as 2 extra ones

We have so many songs its just so confusing... Will have to speak to my band... Dont think they could do the smiths justice but have heard them play both elbow n paul wellar... My band play very indie covers, n one of the songs in their set is i write sins not tradgedies by fall out boy... had to tell them NOT to play that.. if ya google the lyrics you'll understand why.... lol x

I also like chasing cars Kevsgirl :) Think we're going to have Prince, purple rain....no real meaning for us as a couple to be hinest but it fits our day perfectly as its purple themed! The hotel have agreed to let us put a balloon net above the dance floor (filled with purple balloons) so we are going to release this half way through the song...hence 'purple rain'! xxx

@Lemondrops - Sweet Caroline is a great song either to bridge the gap between your first dance and the more lively tunes or towards the end when people have had a drink or two...

I love that song "there she was just walking down the street, singing do rah diddy diddy dum diddy do" I was about 11 and went to France for a week and a group of really fit boys sang it and I loved it ever since and always makes me smile. No H2B connection though :-$
