We originally had decided to have lonestar amazed as we loved it and listened to it all the time when we first got together but it seems we've listened to it a few too many times and have gotten sick of it so we have now decided to have Shania Twain - You're still the one, all the words fit perfect seeing as we got together in our last year of secondary school and now 8 years later, plus two beautiful daughters we are finally getting married!! What are you guys having fo your first dance and what are your reasons for choosing that? x

I am not 100% sure it will be first dance, or whether it will be our recessional music, but I really want to have Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol at the wedding - makes me tear up almost every time I hear it, and I love the lyrics.

i really want bon jovi - thank you for loving me (or others) but h2b has banned me from having it played. i am a massive JBJ fan and marks kinda gone of them since he met me - cant imagine why!!

We're having Fyfe Dangerfield's version of "She's Always a Woman" from the John Lewis advert. It may not be 100% positive (the woman described is a bit of a b***h) but then I'm not perfect and it's kind of true. Plus I really wanted a proper old-fashioned waltz. If you're wearing a princess dress, there's nothing else quite as flattering or romantic as a waltz for your first dance. (Shame as we're so much better at the Foxtrot.)

Some good songs here. We are having wonderful tonight but the damage version. I love chasing cars,makes me well up when I hear it. It was playing on the radio when my son was born but my h2bs Brother had it at his wedding last year so we can't use it. My friend had dangerously in love at her wedding last april. Her and her husband just looked at each other and smiled the whole way through the song. It was so beautiful and made me cry.

Congratulations :) that's such a sweet song, people are going to be shedding a tear i think.We are really stuck on this. I really like 'perfect' by fairground attraction as it is so upbeat and it reminds me of when we got together but the lyrics are a bit off for us. It says things like 'young hearts are foolish, they make such mistakes' etc but we got together very young. I love the song so much so am thinking of getting someone to sing it and change the lyrics!

We are stuck on this too...only until 25th June to decide...!! My favourite at the moment is Al Green, lets stay together, might be slightly too up beat tho. Got a long list of others which includes, jack johnson, eva cassidy, percy sledge, eric clapton, etta james....the list goes on so many good songs out there.
