That sounds lovely Jenn. I'm just so indecisive! And OH isn't really much help as I think he'd be happy with whatever (within reason of course lol). He does like the original Stand By Me so I don't know if we should just stick with that. I like the fact it's quite different and not your normal first dance song, but then I don't know if I'd regret not having a slow soppy one.

I love Kodaline - The One. That was a contender for us but in the end decided it was too soppy and we wanted something a bit more upbeat. One of my bms also did a solo to that song in our show last summer, so now every time I hear it I think of her and her routine! Lovely lovely lyrics though xx

Our first dance will be to David Bowies- As the world falls down, from Labyrinth. (hense the signature) It was the first movie we watched together which he had especially hunted down because he knew it was my favourite. Its also my favourite ballroom scene from a movie ever. My partner also sang it to me as we danced years ago. It just holds such a special place in my heart, it couldnt have been anything else.

I want "Shut up and Dance" by Walk to the Moon, OH wants "The One" by Kodaline
Reason for me, we're both shy and self conscious so a fun song like that might make it easier for us. Plus the lyrics are actually very descriptive of how I feel about her. Also this was the first song we danced together to.
Reason for her is that is was the song that she used to tell me she loved me.
Don't know which to go for though. We've talked about it and we can't agree ether way. Might end up being a coin toss

MrsBU2B, could you have one as your first dance and the other as your last dance of the night? We had Michael Bubles version of Some Kind of Wonderful as our first dance,. Hubby poked it, he'd listened to it after we'd been seeing each other for about 6 months and told me then that he wanted it as our first dance at our wedding. This was 18 months before he actually proposed lol xx

then as Mrs Wade mentioned the signing of the register... we are having the Rocky theme tune- Gonna Fly now by Bill Conti as my h2b's nickname given to him by my little girl is Rocky. :P he doesn't know we are having this as its a wee joke on my part. I had a wedding dream months ago that was so vivid and this song was playing and everyone had a wee giggle about it- thats why i chose it :D
