So me and my h2b went out on saturday night and we were eating our meal when I approached the subject of our 1st dance (we were sober at this point)
So we are dancing to "God must have spent a little more time on you" by cough Nysnc haha but I thought it would be funny to half way through break into "Lets get ready to rumble" by ant n dec (we're geordies lol)
And boy did i not expect the response my h2b gave me!!!!!
HE SAID YES!!!!!! that he thought it would be funny!!!
Fully expected him to say no so major shock there!!!
We've got one of those exploding balloons too so that can go off whilst we're dancing to ready 2 rumble hehee!
Im excited just thinking about it!
Now heres the dilemma..... how on earth do u mix two tracks together? lol!

If you know someone who can do it without noticing the 'break' in the two songs too much, then you can do it that way. But if you explain to DJ exactly what you want and where you want the 2 songs to merge, they can do it to fit timings wise so they don't clash with each other as the 2nd song fades in, if that makes sense xxx Just thinking they know what they're doing with merging songs, you don't want to songs to conteract each other during the transition between them xxx

There's free software that you can download that will allow you to manipulate songs. We were going to do the same as you with Future Love Paradise and Word Up! but in the end decided that I couldn't do the stuff that we'd practised as all my stuff was backwards and I couldn't do that in my dress so we just had Word Up! but we cut the end off and changed the beginning so it was how we wanted it xx

There is a program you can download that is easy to use. We have mixed our whole evening of music using it, you basically drag and drop the tracks around. Google mixing software Audacit*.... dont think I am allowed to use the whole word but you should find it from that x

i have just mixed two songs for my first dance, wait for it....... time of my life (dirty dancing) halfway through turns into thriller lol lol then back to time of my life. we are doing both dances, the lift too we have our best man and his wife doing thriller with us and the bit in dirty dancing before the lift. a friend of mine who is a dj mixed the songs for us. very excited, cant imagine what our guests will think lol
