    Hi,

I had my heart totally set on doing a Viennese waltz for our first dance (to "Always a Woman to Me" as sung by Fyfe Dangerfield) but my fiance has been struggling with a basic waltz when we've gone to group dance lessons. We're both finding a foxtrot easier but we'd chosen a song in 3/4 time. We've got another 11 months to learn and I really don't want to change the song if we can avoid it. Do you think another two terms of group dance lessons will be enough or should we budget for private dance lessons?

    Thanks.

do you think we'll look ridiculous if we just do the usual shuffle thing, you know, like hails said! Round and round, side to side, really basic! Because neither me nor adam can dance, and when we do it ends up looking like some kind of bizarre comedy sketch! haha

What would you say is the "right" length for a First Dance. I'm choreographing a waltz for our first dance and I'm not sure whether or not to use the full length of the song (it's a little over 5 minutes) or cut it off around 3 minutes?

I love dancing and want a choreographed first dance but my fiance cannot dance and hes not very enthusiatic about it he doesnt really want to choreograph a dance. our first dance is to michael buble's everything, so its a hard sond to dance to side to side in a circle and i dont want to look like a lemon. what type of dance would you suggest to dance to it for a first dance?

Mr lala knows that there is no way i will allow a shuffle for a first dance , as not only am i a trained dancer but so are both my parents and sister .....so i am choreographing out first dance....

My advice to any of you is just do what you are comfortable doing you wont enjoy things if you are panicing about where your feet go

There is a big height difference between myself and H2B. How would you work around that?
