So h2b totally surprised me today by telling me he's already picked music for me walking down the aisle (instrumental from film Amelie), signing of register (God Only Knows, The Beach Boys), us walking back down aisle as man and wife (It Must Be Love, Madness) and first dance (Beneath Your Beautiful, Labrinth & Emeli Sande)

Coolies, I think my H2B is choosing the music but I'm having my in put as well, I trust his music choice most times but I want to make sure he hasn't got anything too heavy for the registry office.

My H2B has choosen first dance, signing the register and our exit music!!! I have to pick my entrance music...... And, have no idea??? Perhaps I should get him to pick that too?? Would save me a lot of hassle!!! :-)

Yeah I like them all, the words really mean something. Music is his thing so was always going to be him that sorted this part of the day. The instrumental he's picked for me is beautiful.

I really wanted to have God Only Knows for my signing of the register but it's a registrar service so no mention of God. It's such a beautiful song.

We're having a civil ceremony too and the rule as far as I'm aware is that you can't have songs or readings that are obviously religious in context. This isn't but it does come down to individual registrar's interpretation of the rule. We need to check with them but had a look around the web and some have allowed it some haven't

I think we're going to have what ever music the registrar has for the main ceremony but we both agreed to having 'One Day Like This' by Elbow for our first dance. We were watching the Olympics and both looked up when we heard that song :D

Our first dance? W2B wanted 'Wonderful World" (forget the singer), but I wanted something more fun, so I stamped my feet, and won the day with 'Hungry Eyes' by Eric carmen. It was featured in the "Dirty Dancing" soundtrack. Should be interesting! ;-)
