@J:- I havent totalled the cost as of yet as am probabley going to need some more large roses which are £3.49 per bunch of 6 in Dunelms. I know its going to come under £60 and that will be for my bouquet, 5bm bouquets, 2/3 fairy flower type wands and how ever many button holes I decide to make.

I am contemplating only having 1 bouquet for my MOH and making corsages for my BM's....toying with that idea but not sure if it would just be easier to make all of them Bouquets as I know how to make them now..

@srk37:- I put the flowers into the postions I wanted, taped the stem half way down to give room for manouver when putting the crystal and pearl sprays in, then used smaller roses to fill the gaps (had to add some floral wire on the ends of the smaller roses so that the stems were long enough to secure with tape. Play about with them until you are happy with the shape-add and takeaway as you feel necessary until you have the desired effect-add more tape to secure. Then I added the feathers which was the hardest part, I used floral wire to wire a few feathers together into a fan shape then added more floral wire around the bottom to attach to the bouquet, done the same for the second lot of feathers once they were in place I taped to secure again, then added ribbon
    and some crystal pins :)

@J, I was thinking of making some sweet trees as Im either going to hire a candy cart or have a sweet buffet table, have you started/finished making them yet and what materials do you need, how much are they costing as I know someone on my FB who has been doing them from £10 upwards.

I wish I had just an ounce of your talent, I have contemplated making my own bouquet but if I did people would be saying "how sweet she let her niece do it" - She's four! x

    I can't wait until 29/06/2013

This looks fantastic, and amazing that you'll be able to make all that for under 60 quid. Just the bridal bouquet often costs more than that if you buy one. Clever you!

@bride2be2012, i haven't started them yet, but i've brought some polystyrene balls & oasis balls because wasn't sure which will be best to use (the bay 15 for £8), I've got some plastic pots (wilko's 15 for £4.00), which i'm going to paint (tester pots 5 for £6), ribbon for the stem (the bay £1.50), so all i've gota get now are the sweets. I'm only doing small one's because i'm not having them as my centrepieces (i'm having balloons) so i'm going to have 2 on each table & 3 on the top table. The sweets are 3 bags for £1 in Asda (3 bags per tree £15) so I'm guessing for 15 trees it's going to cost me about £35 all in xx

Thats what I thought, it's just the making of them now, I just hope they come out ok, but might cost me a little bit more because I forgot i've got to have plaster of paris aswell for in the pots, but still pretty cheap x
