A while ago my H2B had a fall out with his daughter and they didn't speak for a while. Anyway, to cut a very long story short - they're now back talking and she's coming over to ours next weekend which is fantastic news. She lives a very long way away and terms with his ex wife are very very bitter so they've come to an arrangement that visits will be few and far between but that something is better than nothing (which is a whole different can of worms but hey ho - you deal with what you've got!)
I'm over the moon that they're friends again - a father/daughter relationship is far too precious to throw away regardless of the arguments. But, it leaves me with a dilema! Obviously we want her to be a BM, and she is over the moon to be one. The problem is that I've already got the other 3 girls dresses - have been online to order another one and the supplier is no longer there!!! Arrrggghhhhhhhh!!!! The dress is quite popular on the Bay of E, but obviously I can't guarantee a different suppliers dress will be exactly the same! Do I just order from somewhere else and hope that it'll look the same?

Could you email the original supplier you bought them from and try your luck for one more? Failing that, I would probably try a similar seller with the same listing

Hi Fran!
Does the seller on Bay of E have any fabric samples you can order to see if the colours do in fact match?? Most of them will be willing to send a sample for £1 or so, so maybe go down that route first?? Is there a difference in age at all in the BM? Is the daughter younger? Could have a similiar dress but with defiiferent details for the age range??
Keep me posted and good luck!! xx

Oooh didn't think about asking for a sample! Good idea! H2B's daughter is almost 14 whereas the others range from 18 to 30! I did think about a slightly different dress but I don't want her to think Im treating her like a little girl - I remember being 14 and I WAS AN ADULT!!! haha. Will let you know how I get on xx

*Kelbel* is my wedding twinny!
After a good chat with H2B and future MIL, we've decided that as his daughter is still only 13 (almost 14 at the wedding) that we should maybe go for a different dress that compliments the original ones. The original ones are an older style (ie you need a bust!). any idea's of styles that would work?? These are the original ones.....
