Hi girls, I need to find a dress in Glasgow if possible, don't find if it's in surrounding area, but don't have a huge budget! Anyone from Glasgow found a nice dress on a budget around these parts?(:

I tried on dresses in Eleganza Sposa on bath st and then had the designer one remade by a reputable china dress lady. If you want links to her website - let me know and I'll . I did have to do a bit of research as shops sometimes give different names to the dresses and if you want the dress as close to the orginal as possible you might need the designers name/code for the dress.
You can have a wee look in my albums if you want - theres pics of the dress I tried on and my copy dress too. The photos dont really do it justice

Th Berketex Designer Sale advertised up there ^^^ is also in Glasgow :) And Aberdeen and Edinburgh I think aswell? My cousin got her dress from there and it was gorgeous such amazing quality but not overly expensive. Think i'm gonna have a little look too :) x

The best store I went into in Glasgow was Angelique Lamont, they were brilliant and had some really decent packages for dress, veil and alterations x
....also if you'd be willing to travel to Broxburn, Gwennes is great and Gwenne and the girls are brilliant! x

I went to the Bridal Studios they had a huge range of dresses for a variety of budgets. The service was fantastic. I also went to Eleganza Sposa and the woman was so stuck up, rude and just plain un-helpful! Very bad experience with them, they just pick all the dresses out and don't let you pick any yourself. I also had an appt which I never went to (as I found the one) in House of Fraser who have been highly recommended to me by many people xxx
