Hello ladies, Just to say i am very chuffed! I (all by myself i may add) chose the flowers for the reception and church! BUT does it matter if theyre different? for the church ill be having a bouquet of red roses with a white ribbon wrapped around them and the bridesmaids will be having bouquets of white roses with dark red ribbon wrapped round them. the groom will be having a white rose button hole and the groomsmen will be having red rose buttonholes. For the reception though ive chosen a 2 foot drapey flower thing for the top table with white and red flowers in it, for the tables ive chosen fish bowls with a bit of grass wrapped in it and 3 floating gerberas. It will be sat on a round mirrored dish with 3 tealight candles and table crystals around it... and because ross was in hong kong and wasnt there to stop me the florists are going to sprinkle a nice amount of glitter over everything lol! And those of you who knew about my jay vs the dry cleaner and mender incident Jay won! My dress after 8 weeks of arguements is perfect and is mended and clean and is sitting in my bedroom in its pristine bag just waiting to be worn! x

I dont think different flowers should matter so long as the colours are still the same Jay.
Didnt know the story about your dress but glad to see you got it sorted. You;re obviously very persuasive. I'll bear that in mind if i need back up in my wedding planning lol

lol the woman i argued with that was doing the repairs on my dress said she had never dealt with such a pain in the a*s and i informed her that i had never worked with a more unprofessional seamstress that had such shoddy work. I only needed a hook and eye put on the dress to close it at the bottom on the back and she zig zagged the stitching up on my maggie which caused me to go spare! she used such a fat needle and thread and it was very noticeable! In the end she informed me that if i wanted the stictching to be unnoticeable she was going to take all the stitching out my dress and resew it. I warned her not to bother or i would have to come up to the shop with the scary best man and poke her with the needle lol. My dress is perfect and noone got injured lol. Accomplishment :D
aaw thank you for the flower re assurance because i wasnt very sure on 'the done thing' lol x

1) yea!! about the dress 2) We have different flowers all over the place- all purple and yellow. So no, I don't think it matters.
