I sent a letter to our reception venue committee to ask their permission for us to have a hog roast. Because we hadn't had a reply and I sent the letter about 5/6 weeks ago I decided to give them a ring to see if they'd made a decision.. and they said....YES! I'm so happy I could explode lol.

It's What we wanted from the when we set the date. Lol. It's so much cheaper. Been quoted £500 to feed approx 100 people. That's with homemade stuffing and apple sauce and freshly baked granary and white rolls. When we were looking at having a buffet someone quoted us £900 for a ploughmans buffet which is no good to me as I hate cheese. Lol. So glad we can have the hog now.

im going to have the superior roast, that feed 100 people, with stuffing, apple sauce, rolls, salad, coleslaw and potato salad. as we have at least 2 veggies going, one is fil2bs gf who h2b doesnt like so for all he cares she can go without food but the other is a friends gf so we have to feed her something lol
