When my email changed at work it felt good........but the strangest thing was getting my wage slip with Mrs. Anne North on it......
(my amount didnt change though) :( LOL

But where I work we have couriers bringing parcels in daily, and I have to sign for them, I am now approx 60% North ! but 40% of the time I just squiggle Bourne... my old name. (and its been 10 weeks! )

We've been married nearly 15 months now - but it took me ages to get used to my new name. Even now someone will say something or I'll see something written down and it'll feel strange. A couple of days ago at work someone had wrote on top of a handout 'Mrs P' and I'd not thought of it like that before - felt really weird lol.

I'm fully used to it now. However, my passport is still in my maiden name as I have 7 years left on it, so am trying to hold on as long as poss before changing it. So when I was in the US a couple of weeks back, I kept having to think to myself my name is this not that! So, when I got back and went to get a train season ticket, he asked for my name and I accidentally said my maiden name as I'd pretty much been using it for the past two weeks! Oooops! I had to get him to fill out another card for me - must have sounded well dodgy LOL!
