Well we've finally dropped our florist, with 5 weeks to go. Over a week after our last meeting with them, they finally emailed us a breakdown of our flowers and the cost - we had an initial one over 6 months ago.

However, they had ommited the mums' flowers and made mistakes that we had clarified during the meeting. I wouldn't have noticed the missing flowers but, I was showing my mum the list of flowers (as she's paying for them) and I realised hers weren't on there - obviously she won't be paying for those ones. I just don't trust them to get it right on the day and don't want to spend the next month worrying.

On it's own, this doesn't sound like much, but we've been messed around with them since the beginning - it took over a month for them to agree that we had paid our deposit over the phone to us.

We're now (hopefully) using a local company which my mum recommended. They've promised to email is a quote by tomorrow, so much more efficient and were willing to speak to me when I dropped in, rather than the other company where we had to book in advance and even then it seemed like we were an inconvenience. So I can now relax...juste and the puppy, whilst my H2B enjoys his stag do!

think you made the right decision changing florists. I would have done exactly the same, if they can't do anything right now i wouldn't trust them to get anything right on the day and by then it would be far too late to amend their mistakes.

    xx
