    Evening everyone,

Well I have good news, I've FINALLY managed to pin Adam down to look through some readings for the ceremony and we now have a final list of what we're having! yey!
I've been trying to get him to look at them for months now, will give him a couple of weeks off before I get him to decide on the vows and stuff, don't want to push my luck! haha

    Anyway, we're having:

Extract from the Velveteen Rabbit (Margery Williams)
A lovely love Story (Edward Monkton - quirky but brilliant and so us!)
Marrige Fulfills the Dreams and Love that Two People Share (Glenda Wilm)
    - not sure of the order yet - any suggestions?

I found another one I really liked called No Matter What - it was really sweet, along similar lines to the velveteen rabbit but adam didn't like it as it had characters in called Small and Large. He thought people would spend the whole time trying to decide which one of us was which! lol, so I got to have the lovely love story instead :o)

    Anyway, I'm a happy bunny :o)

What is everyone else having? xxxxxxx

congrats, I've been reading through so many I've got readings overload lol I've put the booklet away for now and will look again in a few weeks time. Have you decided who is going to read them? Our registrar said we're allowed up to 3 readings, but was thinking of have only 2. Was going to ask my brother and sil2b, suppose I could let them choose and just let them tell me what they're reading lol, will save me picking them :) x

I need to buy a book and go through some. I would really like some classic love poems as we are going for a pride and prejudice theme. If I could get hold of the book in sex and the city about the great love poems of all time then this would be great but dont know waht its called or if it exists in real life

Yeah we're having 2 of our bridesmaids, both teenagers reading one each and then one of my close friends who is not a bridesmaid is reading the other one. If you're looking for books with the readings in, I bought 2 second hand off amazon for next to nothing - might be worth a look. suzky123 I have two books full of traditional readings that I'm not going to use anymore, do you want them? I bought them second hand so they're a bit dogeared but if you don't mind that then you're welcome to them :o) Although to be fair, none of the ones we're having actually came from there as they were all a bit too traditional for us xxx
