Ok so I know its abit late but we got married on may 4th and wanted to let you all now it went fantastically! !

So we had a legal marriage on the sat afternoon, after dropping everything off at our proper venue I went to a hairdresser for a nice blow dry. Drama one was she was horrible, ripped my hair out and had to redo it twice as she didnt like ghd's! She yellled at me as I literally had 30 min to get home, dressed and into town. I asked if anyone else could help and she snapped at me!

So I was wound up and had to throw some make up on and off we went. For some reason I got really nervous! Shaking like a leaf we said our vows with a few tears. Had a few cocktails after the ceremony and then went home to get changed. After checking into the hotel my sister got room service and generally chilled out.

So in the morning we were getting ready quite slowly and I was very chilled. My dad came up and we cried again! So we were all set to go to the chapel downstairs when the coordinator said 'his mums late you have to wait'. Now you may remember we had lots of problems with her. She managed to get up to leeds the day before and was staying 3miles away- but still managed to be nearly an hour late! She followed me and my dad down the isle (actually photobombed me!) Wailing like a banshee! The usher found her a seat but then had to tell her to shut up or leave!

This is when I noticed one of the best mem was different. Turns out he text in the morning to say he had a headache. Now he came all the way up here means he must have been ill. Luckily another friend who stayed the night before was a similar size so stepped in for us.

Then the day went into hyperdrive! The ceremony was awsome! My dad got ordanded online as a joke but did a joint service with our reverand so it made it extra special.

Because we were so behind (thanks mil) we didnt get all the photos before the meal as planned so had to do more afterwards.

The food was good and speeches were really funny. It was great to see everyone together!

As a surprise we had had a dance lesson for our first dance and it went perfectly! Was so proud!

After all the guests had gone aaron and I spent some time just dancing by ourselves to all our fav songs. It was the first time all night we were together! My sister surprised us by getting our honeymoon suit ready which was lovely.

So then we jetted off to cuba which was just fantastic! Had a whale of a time but the aaron started to get sick 4 days before we went home. It got so bad he didnt eat and slept all day (it was raining so we didnt miss out). We went to the doctor from the airport whi rushed us to hospital. Turns out his appendix had burst and he was lucky to be alive! So we have had a very stressful time. He is finally home niw so we can get back to married life!

Sounds like everything went well.... well you didn't let the things that didn't go well get to you, I can't believe that hairdresser, how rude and your MIL... well what can I say.

Glad you had a great day and a great honeymoon up until hubby being poorly, so glad he is okay now though

Hehe yes its been eventful! Just getting through the thank you letters now. We have printed everyone a collage of wedding and honeymoon pic as they were all very generous!!
