Wow fantastic brilliant ecstatic! Had our final meet with caterer tonight to run through final choices and boy did she exceed expectations!! We have arrival drinks of bud and peroni for the men, and rose wine for women alongside a choice of 7 canapés where everyone will get roughly 4 each...we get a mini platter as off on photos Then we have 3 cheese and pesto tartlet or pork pate with Melba toast and garnish Pork belly or provenoise chicken Then a dessert table... However for the top table she's doing all the 7 desserts as mini puds for us so we don't have to get up (WELL IMPRESSED) She is also going round the tables offering 2xglasses of wine throughout.
After this guests go through to the garden room for coffee/ tea and she is supplying a cheese board in there!
Then we have the toast drinks
Evening we have wedding cake ... Hog roast accompanied with BBQ pulled pork and also hog which has been soaked in cider and fennel(an experiment she's trying) with salads tartlets stuffing apple sauce etc and buns
Also we are having a cookie bar/table instead of a sweet buffet so instead of us buying them from tesco etc, as she's never done cookies at a wedding she's said she'll do them for us for free!
I was absolutely blown away...wanted the food there and then, at least it's only a week away
The whole meeting was brilliant and I'm so excited for everyone to have this food next week... No one will be hungry (I hope!!)

Im jealous! I'm a very picky eater but I'd be overly pleased just at the choices for the guests more than me lol. LOVE the cookie table idea! Your caterer is so helpful. Also very jealous that you only have to wait a week, boo!

It's gone so fast the last three months, just glad last night went so well as up til now she's been rubbish with communication on her part, I know she's a busy team but literally not heard one word for about 15months lol...it was a running joke between me and h2b... Just hope everything lives up to what she's envisaged which is Michelin standard so I'm hoping so
