Hi there, I hope that someone can offer advice? Our wedding is in September but already feeling overwhelmed with everything we need to do! My brother in law is a photographer so we're sorted there but I'm debating whether or not to book a professional videographer? I went to the Essex wedding show last week and the videographer prices were unbelieveable and their DVD examples were like somehting from the 80s! Has anyone heard of or used NAME REMOVED AS NO ADVERTISING ALLOWED? I found them on ANOTHER site, they're cheap, have good reviews and examples but I don't know if I can trust my friends to film our wedding. I'd be gutted if they messed it up. Is anyone else filming their own wedding? x

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE THE CORRECT CATEGORY BEFORE YOU POST A NEW THREAD! THE 'OFFICIAL' TO BE USED BY MODS ONLY IS THERE FOR A REASON.
I'VE CHANGED IT FOR YOU THIS TIME, BUT PLEASE BE MORE CAREFUL IN THE FUTURE.
I HAVE ALSO REMOVED THE NAMES YOU MENTIONED IN HERE AS IT IS CLASSED AS ADVERTISING, WHICH IS NOT ALLOWED ON THE FORUM. PLEASE READ THE FORUM RULES!
    THANKS,
    MODS.

Im wouldnt hire a videographer personally because we cant afford it. If i could i def would!
Its a day you only do once and i would want as many memories as i could!
Ive never heard of film your own. I shall google them now :P x

I hadn't thought of this, I'd just seen the videographer's prices & though 'in my dreams!' But I've just had a look on their website & a video of the day would be awesome! I still begrudge paying nearly £400 for something someone can do for free, but then we wouldn't have a dvd of it all together, it would just be random bits & bobs! Hmm xx

I like the fact they give you a trailer as well as the highlights. It looks pretty stunning but I don't know if that's just marketing? It's a third of the price of the 80's videographers at the Essex show! LOL!
