Found one on the internet that was built up using plates with the sweets at the edges to hide them. Quite effective and pretty easy. On bay of e. x

I would use cone shaped floristry oasis covered in tin foil (will need wighting down) secure chocolate with cocktail sticks as pins in food can cause bacteria and infect the food. You can get 3ft high cones but I believe you need about 800 to fill it! You could alternate the chocolate with strawberries to make it cheaper xxx

You could use coloured royal icing, I can't believe they would use glue directly in the wrapper unless it was for decoration only? :o)

yeah have seen brown kinda blobby stuff off the ones you buy in supermarkets. Not sure if its glue, but if it is it will be non-toxic and shouldnt be any problem putting it on the wrapper

I was just thinking the same! Do you know, I think you should email Ferrero Leighbee and ask them what they would recommend and how did they make their tower on the advert? I'm sure if you told them it was for your wedding they would be happy to divulge xxx

sugar paste is what you cover cakes with or you can make flowers etc with it.

Sugar paste is used to mostly do the flat icing and some modelling, Pastello (gum paste, mixture of sugar paste and gum tragacanth) is used to make flowers and royal icing is used to stick flowers etc to the cakes. I used to make cakes and that's how I was taught and always did it. Royal icing is very pliable, sticks well and sets like concrete making it the best option :o) xx
