Well I sit love my wedding dress anymore! I think I rushed into it, when I bought it my baby was 3 month old and I was feeling so self conscious and fat and ugly, I tried 4 dresses on none actually fitted me until I tried my dress on and I honestly think I only bought it because it made me feel good that one actually fitted me! So I thought that was the one and bought it, it's nothing like I really wanted, I wanted a vintage looking dress or something a bit different, don't get me wrong I like the dress but I'm falling out of love with it! It's Mori lee 1819 by the way, I'm a big girl anyway and I only thought about it last night that my partner is quite small, well he's the same height as me and skinny so I think the wedding photos will look really silly as the dress will swallow him up lol! I feel like I'm huge next to him when I'm wearing heals let alone a big massive dress! I don't know what to do!!!!!! Any advice please x

I can help with the height as I'm in the same dilemma. My partner and I are exactly same height so when I put my heels on ill tower over him so he's going out to look for platformed shoes o he doesn't feel short

It's a lovely dress hun, but if it's not what you really want anymore, maybe it would be best to look into one that you would be happy with and try and sell this one to get some of the money back?? xxx

My dress is very similar to yours and I have thought about the fact that as I am at the moment I would look like I am drowning my h2b!

I'm wearing low heels because of it. Is there anyway you could put it towards an exchange for a dress you will really love?? xxx

I don't think so, I told thr shop owner I felt this way when she put a short 50 year old in my dress for photos of the business and she just said its a bit late now lol x I had to get my dress from the shop as they wanted to charge £50 a month storage and if I didn't pay it within 2 weeks of it coming into the shop I would loose my deposit which was 450 x

I think I am going to sell it in all honesty, the other half even offered to have like a dressed rehearsal and see if I feel the same when we are standing next to each other but I really don't want him to see the dress lol x

lol!! you need your dress to be right, so i would sell it and start looking again. It's unfortunate they wont take it back but hopefully you wont have to lose any money when you sell it xxx

I really feel for u hunni, I am same height as my OH and a whopping 4 stone heavier and im going dress shopping in 5 weeks dreading it if im honest. The shop you used don't sound very helpful but would they consider buying it back off you at a loss or selling you another one with a significant discount. Hope u get sorted x

you have to be comfortable or you will regret it. HOwever i fell out of love with mine until I put it back on again and fell in love with it all over again. Maybe do the same. Also you can always do the dress rehearsal but blindfold hubby to be?

cant wait to be Mrs Evans less than 3 weeks woooo
    start weight 10st 1.5 lbs

I agree that you need to be comfortable dress, or you will end up regreting it as it will taint your day.
That said I think that you are worrying a lot about something that doesn't matter. Most brides take up more room in photos then their groom because they're in the big white dress! So I wouldn't stress about that aspect.

Hey Hun just looked up your dress and it is so stunning. What is it that you don't like? I am in the same boat. Got a dress at a bargin price but it's a copy and as lovely as it is I keep looking and it's not the same. Think my oh would be gutted if I changed it but just out of love with it. I am a really big girl but I am going more for the great big dress, it's our only day to pull it off so why not lol x

You need to be comfortable and if you really dont like it you need to sell it and start again. Otherwise you will regret it. Wish i was the same height as h2b, would love to wear flats and be comfortable. h2b is over a foot taller than me so having to learn to walk in heels lol x x

I dont think it will drown ur h2b, i think u will look lovely together and dnt think u shld stress urself out by trying to find another dress when the one u have is just gorgeous :)

i agree with the dress rehearsal, if your hubby finds platform shoes let me know, my partner is 2 inches smaller than me and were searching height increasing shoes haha

you need to feel right in your dress, i think you may just be having a wobble and will fall in love again once you have it on, it sounds like your doubting it because of the height thing more. x

i think a dress rehearsal too, when your stood together and you have the dress on you may just change your mind, and if not then sell it and find another one that you do love and feel comfortable in. If your feeling down about your dress it will only spoil your big day and make you feel miserable.

Hun i had major dress wobbles 7 weeks before the wedding and ended up changing my dress for the same reasons - weight and unhappiness! I talked to the woman I bought it from and she was a superstar in helping me sort it, maybe you could try the same? xx
