I feel the same. But i think its lack of money and still having over a year to go so cant properly book things yet thats getting to me!! Just wanna have monet to spend on the things i want to and to pay venues etc. My list seems to get added to lol

I have FOUR YEARS lol to be honest Ive done EVERYTHING except paid for things. I know what little things Im getting, i know which company's we are using and have even paid for some deposits its really just a question of getting the money together to pay them off! Four years to go i do feel like im standing still sometimes tho but then i think well actually we postponed because we want our own house and i remember that when we do get married we will be happy and secure in our own place.................what could be better!

I have 11 months to go and have done absolutely nothing. The priest hasn't got back to us to confirm our date and we've been waiting 7 weeks now since we first contacted him, really stressing me out. Until the date is definite we can't book anything at all. We have chosen our caterer and have a reception venue but we have SO much to do and nothing is getting done. Feeling like giving up on the church we really wanted and finding somewhere else for the service just so we can start organising everything. Fed up :(

We have been, but it's always the answerphone. We have been emailing and talking to the church warden and he is sending all our emails to the priest and the deacon but they are just not contacting us. It's so frustrating, especially as the church is in Kent and we're in Birmingham so we can't just pop to the church and hope to catch him.

I had to persevere with our vicar too Nini. Got there in the end so chin up and just carry on trying. :0)
I've got 7 months to go and things seem to be moving now, my mum is more excited about the hen night it seems (i'm joking-but only just!) and things are starting to snowball. Just having to put every spare penny into finishing paying for things and we should be done by January.
Why not concentrate on one thing on the list at a time? So for example an email daily (doesn't matter if you annoy the warden!) until you get your date then move on to number 2.xx

Yes I have been thinking about writing a list, but the thought of how long it would be terrifies me!

I would recommend writing that list, it feels scary but once its there you can do it with a bit of a timeline and allocate jobs to others if poss. I had that at the front of a ring binder as a colour coded spreadsheet and updated it as I went along and kept anything related in plastic wallets. Some jobs rely on others being completed so take it a day at a time. Lots of balances are 28 days before too.
We got engaged in January and have organised the lot for October in the same year, its in 5 weeks. We've really enjoyed the planning, going to miss it :-)

I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle at the moment. I've got 9 months to go and I've only booked my Church, Reception, Bar and bought the dress! In the middle of sorting the caterer and photographer but it's taking AGES! And photographers are so expensive and confusing! :( hopefully it will come together soon for all of us x

I've got just over 6 months left.. I have a h2b, a venue and a dress. Nothing else is booked, sorted or even planned. I am stressing out all over the place. The more I try and decide what I want.. the more I change my mind. Sigh. xxx

Venue and dress are most important, its good you have those sorted.
Try visiting local wedding fayres, they were really helpful for me with suppliers/ ideas. Found our photographer at one of those. I think most of them are expensive, its also down to personal taste and what style of pics you like, I wasn't so keen on the work of some of the cheaper ones but they vary. Plus you have to gel with them as a person as they are with you all day and often while you're getting ready.

Ive been to two weddings this weekend. They have both been brilliant and the brides have been fantastic and everything went perfect.. It just makes you realise what its all worth it in the end :D xxx
