I don't know if it just last minute stress but I just feel like everything is gonna look cheap n tacky :( I see my friends putting on Facebook about finding the prefect dress n having sorted all the table plan n then there's me with a dress I got cos it was cheaper n I don't know how to fix it up myself my invites look like they been made by me don't look brilliant tho they don't look bad cant pick music can't find a limo under 400 for 3.5 hours we have people still not got back to us and then his family being awkward saying yea them no then don't know etc n my family saying about food that "oh Jess doesn't eat beef or mushrooms is bit possible to give her just a plain piece of chicken" or "don't be offended if we go eat somewhere else instead of your meal as don't like mushrooms n can't eat onions" am seriously wishing we had gone away n done it as would have honeymoon and no stress!!! Grrrrr sorry rant over! Thanks for listening but any advice well appreciated!!! Xxx

I'm in Scarborough have googled but either they saying 495 or I don't even get a reply n it my Aunty that said it and it was apparently "cos she wanted everything to go smoothly" they get veg n potatoes eat them!!! I just feel like it all going wrong plus ry keeps saying "don't stress it won't help anything get sorted" I understand that but I can't help it it really important to me!! Maybe I should start looking at it differently and it just a day and at end at least we will be married even if the rest is rubbish!!! Just want to cry! It seems silly as I know a lot of you have serious problems but it stressing me out!

I think your having some last minute niggles which is compleatly natural - and the family issues etc wont be helping. I dont mean this harsh ( as i am possibly the fussest eater ever) but sometimes people need to suck it up and eat things they dont love !! I think the thing to concentrate on here is you and your H2B, It all seems stressful now , however it will all come together to equal a perfect day.
ps - if you need to cry just do it !!! sometimes it really helps :) Good Luck with everything xx

Thanks Laurat41 to be honest I suppose it my own fault for giving them the menu! I shud have left it at let us know any allergies n if you veggie! One of my friends doesn't like beef or cream but she having the mushroom stroganoff she said she will try it! I have countless times eaten stuff or at least tried stuff I don't like! Grrr family are stressful!!! His brother has now decided he not coming just to upset rys mum it don't really bother us as he really is a useless piece of rubbish!!! Argh!! Ta for listening ladies xxx

Im getting married near Whitby. There is a company called tpj. I don't think they do limo but do v nice cars starting at £175 I think lovely people they bent over backwards for me!
As for menu tbh stuff them at end of day its a meal your paying for as you said your easy going and would try things.
One thing ive learnt is you can't please everybody and also from my own experience and others on here there are always trouble causers so ignor them and plan what YOU want xx
Ps once your hair n makeup done you will look n feel ace. Its only coz your a bit down everything seems a bit flat.

I did this for my first marriage, and I spent the whole day worrying about what everybody else was thinking, and my day went by so quickly that I hardly had any fun.
I am getting married again 19th Dec 2014 and I cannot wait. We are paying for this ourselves, we are having what we want, and if they don't like what we are providing, then so be it. I plan on having fun, and at the end of the day, as I have said on this forum before, as long as I am there, my fiance is there and our children are there, I don't give a flying fig who else DOES OR DOES NOT turn up.

have your tired the supplies bit on here I always use it if I'm struggling with something I need to sort out. regarding the food you can't please everyone we only get to pick one of each course too and they will eat it or go with out I have been stressing about what to pick as I was worrying about people not eating it but most of my family have said pick what you like we we eat it.
my younger sister and her husband actually made a point of tell everyone how crap the food was at our nieces wedding a few years back and made a point of telling everyone they went to McDonalds on the way to the evening do. the food was actually pretty nice and we picked what we wanted. you cant please everyone

Your day will be fantastic, tell them to stuff it about the food, they are suppose to be there to celebrate you getting married, when I've discussed with my mum possible menu choices and she has said are you gonna also have such and such incase someone doesn't like that, my reply "no" I'm catering for a day I want. With regards to your other items just work your way through what you need to do and It will come together and be awesome :)

Try not to worry; I'm sure everything will look great and beautiful; as for the certain members of the family then just tell them they can come to the ceremony (if they are coming to that part) and then they are free to go elsewhere to eat if they must...Surely they could just eat the food and leave the bits they do not like?

As others have said - your day will feel fantastic ! I stressed about so many things and on the day none of them actually mattered.
I bought a real cheap dress, which never quite felt right - I did go and buy another one, 2 weeks before our wedding and really glad I did as it felt 'right'. Some of our guests didnt like the starter - but between, starter, bread rolls, main meal - everyone liked something and actually I was so floating on a cloud, none of it bothered me in the slightest. My advice is, if you are happy with the big things - dress, venue, h2b (lol) , stop worrying about the millions of small things - they really wont matter x

I've been to weddings before where I've not liked the meal but you don't mention it, eat the bits you do like and feel grateful that you're sharing a couple's special day!
As for your dress, I'm sure it's beautiful and price really doesn't matter - more expensive doesn't mean nicer! xxx
