My FIL2b is coming round today to give our kids there easter eggs, all of our families (accept him) has offered to help for the wedding in some way. My h2b said he is gonna ask his dad today if there is anything he would like to contribute. i am really woried however that it is gonna course an argument. my mum and uncle are coming for easter lunch today and they are both, their own dissision, giving us more money than they can afford. we tried not to accept but my mum put the check into my bank account and said she would be really offended if we refused it.
I am worried that when h2b asks his dad, he will say he doesnt want to do anything and it may course friction between my family and him. i come from a very lucky family, we never had alot of money but were "spoiled" nonetheless. even though i am an adult now and dont expect anything from my parents i still get stuff. i just hiope my family will not expect FIL2b to contribute, even though he can afford it and bought BIL2b his new £5000 car lol xxxxxx

I don't think it should cause a argument or friction as it's his choice whether to contribute or not obviously.. the majority baring 2 members of our mine and my h2b family arn't contributing so your really lucky that you've got lots of people doing so :)

I'm sure deep down they probably will be expecting him to contribute but never mind that's families lol :)

I wouldn't worry about it :) Just focus on planning your lovely day and enjoying a nice Easter with your family :)

He might not have even thought about it hun , after all he is a man! Or he might think you will be offended if he offers you money? I wouldn't be too worried asking him to help if he can, he sounds ok off for cash, and can always say No if he doesn't want to can't he? I can understand your being a wee bit nervous though, it's always hard to know how to word things without sounding cheeky lol x

At least there was no arguments hun! And when it comes down to it he probably wont take the money! (Will he?)

My dad is doing our cake and I asked him how much it was going to be, he said he would find out so I assumed I was paying for it. However my dad has told me he doesn't want paying for it, so you might find your FIL2B does the same x x

Shouldn't be any other buggers business if or what he/anyone contributes apart from the people it immediatly affects ie: B&G.
