Bought our wedding rings today!!!!! :) I am so madly in love with them and we got a great deal for buying both together. Pics in my album Part of the deal was that they re-plated, cleaned and re-sized my engagement ring and the ring my mam gave me for my 21st (that would have cost me well over £100 alone!!) they took them both away today and I feel naked without them. I know it's weird but my hands feel light and strange...
But over the moon we have our rings!!! Whooooop!!

How exciting, we are getting ours next month :), I've to had the naked feeling, I always take mine off when I'm dying my hair or baking and the other day I forgot to put it back on after and felt exactly like this, at least they'll be back soon.

H2B buying them tommorrow!! Taking advantage of a web sale going on to a recently bankrupt jewelery store, so if they dont suit, we can sell them on. Got to give it a try, the palladium one for him in the same place we got my engagement ring was £400!! So any bargain at all...will help!!

If I take my ring off and forget to put it on in the morning - as I walk to work i physically notice it! lol! great on the bargain!

Yeah, they knocked 10% off the price too! So happy with my bargains :) It feels brill to have another big thing sorted, like if all else fails we will still have wedding rings to give each other xx

I know this feeling well! I had to send my ring off to get re-sized and have my wedding ring shaped to fit it. It felt so bad, I had to get another ring just to have something on my finger!

But i agree, when i had mine taken away to be resized, I felt totally wrong without it, so i found a different ring and put it on there, wasnt quite the same as an E-ring shining away but it felt better having something on there, for week or so. then week before wedding had it reshined, and had old ring on again but still not the same even though only for 24hours! I wore my e-ring on my right hand from the night before the wedding so that my finger was all normal and no dents or lumps or anything ready for when he place my band on, cause i knew my hand would swell as id be warm and nervous so didnt want my ering to affect it in anyway! that was bizarre as i didnt have anything to replace it till the day!!

I also know this feeling well... I had mine re-sized recently and was without for 2 weeks. After I got it back, noticed the diamond was wobbly so its been sent off again to be sorted out - another 4 weeks without it :(

I was without mine for 3 weeks a while ago while I was having it copied; I wore a small solitaire in its place, but given mine is a biggish cluster it just wasn't the same; I felt disappointed every time I looked at my hand lol, and it just felt 'wrong'. It was SO nice getting it back!
