I went on a competition entering spree and have just been notified that I'd won one of the competitions I'd entered. Yeah, great, I've never won anything in my life.
The competition was to win 100 chair covers and sashes and fresh floral table centres. Fantastic, would have saved me a few bob. BUT, when I entered I didn't read where the company are located. They cover the north east, I'm in kent, derrrrrr!
I'm going to have to email back and tell them that I'm an idiot LOL x

oh dear. Luckly we get our chair covers and sashes and centre peices as part of our package and if we want fresh we only have to pay the price of flowers at cost

Aww bless you, I think I would have done the same.
Hahaa, I'm gutted but can't help but laugh at my own stupidity. I've found a lady who'll do them at a £1 a chair anyway and fresh flowers are included in our package too but we could have taken them off. Oh well, I'll enter some more tonight (local ones though) :) x

I nearly did that with a wedding cake competition. Fortunately the lady took pity on me, and pointed out where she was and that delivery would cost nearly as much as the amount I'd save on the cake. She said she'd put the entry in for me if I wanted, but I said no.

I entered every wedding related competition I could find Shelley. I do the same thing every month to be honest. I've entered ones for shoes, dresses, honeymoons, cake, make up, stag and hen dos lol. Of you put into googs wedding magazine competition there are usually loads!!! X

aww no thats such a shame - i done the same thing i entered a competition to win a wedding AND I WON!!! and was sooooooooooooo excited then they came back to me to say so sorry but it was only for 2014 snf our wedding is 2015 and i was like ill change the date if i have won a wedding and they wouldnt let me as ive already booked! xx
