sorry if i go on a bit but i dont know who else i can talk to as i need to be really strong at the minute. last night my BIL2B collapsed and had seizures which he has never had before... after alot of hours and tests we were told he has suffered a stroke and has a brain tumoured and this will need operating on ASAP. natually H2B and his family are distraught and we are going to have to postpone the wedding. i have started ringing everyone and explaining and im trying to stay strong for the kids and H2B but dont know how long i can hold it together.

thank you ladies x i feel like everything is going in slow motion and dont know why but everything sounds so loud but dont seem to remember what people have said to me... im like a robot. i am so tired i can only imagine what his parents are feeling. MIL2B said we shouldn`t have cancelled anything until we know how he is after the op... we were getting married in 11 weeks. cant imagine him being ok that quick but couldnt say that to her.

BIL2B is in recovery.. his operation seems to have gone really well. long way to go yet but looks like everything is going to be ok x think the wedding is gonna be back on as well thank you all again for helping me and our family through this. i dont know how else i could have got through without all you lovely ladies to talk to x

Great news! My h2b's dad has had to have 2 brain tumors removed, they kept an eye on him in hospital for 2 days and then he went home with a check up every week, after a week he was fine (apart from a bit of a headache) so hopefully your Bil2b will be the same :) xxxx

just been to see BIL2B he is doing great, he did ask me if i thought he looked like frankensteins monster which made me cry, i told him he looks amazing (which he does) then he joked about the lengths he would go to to get a free hair cut! we are having our wedding on the original date so 73 days to go... doctor said he should be home by then but not to let him over do it. he will be on anti-convulsants for the rest of his life but he said he can cope with it. so great to have a chat with him at last. so happy to have the most amazing in laws ever.
