Hey everyone. So its my birthday tomorrow and we've just had a visit from Adam's parents so they could give me my birthday presents. Now I'm as guilty as anyone for moaning about Mil2b in recent months about causing problems etc. but now I feel guilty because they've gotten me some really thoughtful, lovely birthday presents, all of which are wedding themed! They've bought me a foot pampering kit, a mud mask thing and some expensive moisturising cream and have given me strict instructions to pamper myself before the wedding. But the nicest thing of all is they've bought me a (very expensive!) pearl bracelet to wear on the wedding day because it matches the necklace Adam bought me. I couldn't believe how thoughtful they've been and now I feel really bad for saying stuff about them, mil2b in particular! So it appears there is light at the end of the tunnel - to all the ladies who have funny a mil, don't give up hope! haha :o)

Aww that's lovely hun but dont feel bad - EVERYONE moans about their MIL, it's normal. It is nice to know though that, although she's being a pain in the a$$, she still cares :) x

haha, I know what you mean!! I don't know, we've had our differences about all sorts of things to do with the wedding, but now its getting closer she seems to be more positive about it all. I always got the impression that she didn't think I was good enough for Adam (although he says that's nonsense) not that she was funny with me, was more just a feeling I got. Recently though she's been loads better, almost like she's accepted that we're getting married and now is looking forward to it. His dad on the other hand is lovely, always has been :o)

Aww thats so lovely and thoughtful. Don't feel guilty there must have been a reason for you feeling the way you did and we are allowed a little moan weeddings can be very stressful. Just try put it behind you and look forward hun and she probably realised that she had upset or stressed you out in some way and wanted to make it upto you. Enjoy the pampering and hope the relationship between you and the MIL2B stays positive xx

thats lovely, like the others say dont feel bad - we all moan about the people we care about from time to time,and maybe the mil realised she was being slightly annoying and so has now wised up and made an effort :0) x
