I'm trying to organise as much as I can now to make it easier to get things cheaper rather than leaving it til last minute and it costing more than It needs to. But I keep double guessing everything I do or decide on, I'm worried I'll hate everything or realise it looks a mess, feel like I need a wedding planner but can't justify spending money on one. OH great but he just seems to agree or say its good idea. It's like I just can't picture it and I think part of its coz its so far away but I'm also not confident in myself to decide as I want it to be perfect but we have a small budget. Sorry for rant but think OH bored of me nattering about it lol x

Have you tried using google images for your ideas hun so you can roughly picture the things your looking for? Also try getting a planner or note book and just writing it all down you can then cut out images from magazines etc and try to build a mental picture you will soon see what works and what doesnt hope this helps xx

Yep what Brilly said; I have a planner and although we can't write much in it in terms of venue e.t.c as this isn't booked yet; it does give us an idea what we need and I'm like you; trying to get things as I go along when they are cheaper :)

Im the same. Bought centre pieces other day for a bargain price compared to hiring them but now wondering if I rushed into it. Pretty sure we will use them but cant help thinking it. Now I want to order favour boxes as found some l perfect ones at a good price but cant help thinking if they are stored away for the next 23 months I might end up changing my mind. Plus we have not really agreed the colours yet. We said purple but have now changed to fushia and orange - but what if we wanna change our minds again? Ahhhhhhh! And breath. Im sure your day will be fab.

I need to sit down and figure out how many tables I need so I can buy my centrepieces xx

Emma, why dont you get your notebook and go and sit in your favourite place where you are calm and at ease. Maybe then you will be less stressed and able to mull it over. You have loads of time left, i know you want it to be perfect (and it will be) but that doesnt mean you have to be perfect and get it right straight away so give yourself some slack. X

i think all your ideas come together when you find your venue as you can look at it and be like "that could go there an we could do that with that" you don't have to book it but to have a place in you mind helps i found

MrsC2bee I am in the same boat as you! It's all a bit overwhelming! The best thing I did was to give myself a week off! Don't look at google, don't look at wedding magazines - just get back to doing nothing for a bit! Might help take the pressure off! x

I will say steer away from bridal magazines their a rip off there's hardly any useful stuff in them also! All the stuff is ridiculously expensive like the last one I bought all the princess dresses were 3,000 like I'd pay that for one!! X
