I marry in less than 6 weeks, and I had FINALLY got to the weight I wanted before christmas. I stuffed my face over Xmas and put it all back on! Now it's not shifting at all! I only had half a stone to lose but I'm actually putting weight on rather than losing! I'm doing high intensity Zumba twice a week and high intensity gym session a week too, eating 1200 cals daily during the week, more at weekend to be fair, and struggling! So angry at myself! Anybody any diet tips? Or any fast diets just for the wedding?

Oooh, tough one. Keep going Laura, persevere and try cutting out some carbs, and see if you can add an extra zumba/gym session each week? 6 weeks to go without chips, bread, chocolate and crisps will be worth it! xx

Swimming a great way to calorie burn and all over body toning too. Food wise, I'd suggest not going below 1200 cals a day, just make sure what you eat is low fat, You can do it xx

No carbs! Its tough at times but for short term weight loss it does the trick. I'm a bit desperate atm too, 10 weeks to go for me! x

Cambridge diet.... its meal replacement so can be hard work but i lost 7lb in a week and then 1.5stone over 5 weeks so can be done.... just be careful when eating again as need to do it slowly and properly or pile the weight back on. I have maintained since end of October as only eat carbs once a day and it works.

Remember that as you convert fat to muscle, you actually get heavier! Concentrate on getting to the shape you need to be rather than the weight.

Don't mix carbs and proteins in the same day - they are harder to digest when together.

Eat small meals little and often. You need to speed up your metabolism. The exercise youre doing sounds good, so my advice would be 5 small healthy meals are bette than 3 bigger ones. Try acai berrys for increasing fat burning and quicker metabolism.

    Good luck xx

I agree with the other ladies who say measure yourself! I was a dancer and although I weighed more than a lot of my friends, I was skinnier than them because it was the muscle causing the weight, not fat. You would have gained muscle from the Zumba, especially if it is high intensity, so concentrate on inches rather than pounds! xxx

muscle weighs more than fat so all that zumba and gym could be building up muscles.

My sister was doing Zumba and was not loosing any weight.
I then heard that doing Zumba doesn't aid weight loss but helps you gain muscle mass so in effect you are healthier and nicely toned but weigh more.

Could be something to think about.

    Xx

As the other ladies have said doing high intensity gains muscle. Try swapping to low intensity for a week and see what happens? x

    My situation I'm in is that I've lost 2 stone3lbs f
Doing weight watchers since August. I wanted to wait to try dresses on when I felt confident, yesterday I went and died on about 8 dresses, then the final one I tried was perfect. The fitting lady told me it suited perfectly to my shape and curves, I'm a size 12/14. And not to loose any more weight as it may ruin the dress. But to tone if I wished. My stomach is my main concern. What exercises can I do to tone my belly? I would like to loose another 5/6lbs, do you think that'll be a big problem?
