We all feel like that at times. Honestly just take some time out of it for a few days, you and h2b without any wedding rubbish or talking about it. You'll feel much better for letting it be for a while.

You can always vent on here too, it doesn't all have to be wedding related!

Ditto hun, I used to come on here several times a day, but that dwindled off and I wasn't on here for months at a time, I can't be bothered to do anything towards it. Doesn't help that I hate dress shopping, am really irritated by one of my BMs at the moment and have no firm ideas of what I want to have. H2B's usher is a production manager, and the temptation to just hand it over to him is so strong, only thing stopiing me is I know once I make that decision there's no way back! To be honest, I think after that first rush of "I'm engaged!" it makes sense that the wedding starts to become part of the general fabric of your life, rather than the most important thing, and we have such a long time to go, if you're waiting on dates, you may find excitement building up again once you can actually get stuck in.

Me and H2B decided after we booked our venue in November we weren't discussing it until after he gets back from work after the summer, we'll have a year to go then. We've started having a couple of conversations about it recently, and I'm starting to feel a bit more positive, helped going to our friends' wedding this weekend actually, it was really easy to get carried away with building it up and up into something so complex and fantastical that I couldn't get my head around it. Just have a break from thinking about it hun, if you can't do anything til the dates come through, there's no point in stressing yourself out, you could just make yourself even more apathetic to your planning! It'll probably all come good when you've got your date sorted! x

I have been like that before so don't feel bad, I think we all probably feel like that at one time or another. At one point I think I hadnt been on here for about 3 or 4 weeks as I really didnt want to do much wedding related purely becuase it felt like it was too long away and like you said I was in limbo a bit. The time soon passes and things crop up that get you excited again, and like Ataraxia said, you can still have a chat to us ladies on here without it being wedding related. Hope you start feeling better about it all soon. xx
