I've changed my mind so much on favors, from fudge, to marriage logobugs (i may still get them they were cute) I think we have finally decided (subject to not changing my mind again) on a pen and pencil set with something saying love sarah and jay and our wedding date. Theory was it is something practical that most people will use for a multitude of occasions. xoxox

Ebay has some good deals on sweets and chocolates, if not put in a google search for wedding chocolates/sweets, sometimes like the lovehearts they come in the loveheart wrappers but you can buy the wrappers with your details on for guests. If you don't want stickers you can get ribbons with your personalised details on too. I've seen some really lovely things, but decided against the chocolate, mainly as i would eat them all before i even get married :O and that would be a big no no as i can't get into my dress as it is LOL

i have just emailed a few sellers on our favourite auction site as i want to have mini soaps for the ladies, so trying to do a bargain, it will be dragees for the men x

you can just pay as you go hun. It will come straight out of your bank account through paypal. I only ever have funds in my paypal account if i ever sell anything.

we are having macmillan cancer charity pin badges for the men and breast cancer care pin badges for the women, and making a donation to those charities to the value of what we had budgeted for favours, i think a very worthwhile cause that is close to mine and h2bs hearts x x x

Some of the sites let you know how much prior to your date you can buy them. For chocolate though i wouldn't recommend getting too early though as if it turns youll have white looking chcolate instead of milk if that makes sense. If i was getting chocolate i would probably try and get it 3/4 months before and keep it somewhere dark and cool to try and avoid it turning or going off. Hope that helps a little bit :) xoxox

For the kids involved in the wedding party am doing them slightly individualised and age based ones and absolutely nowt that makes a noise lol. The adults in it are gonna get individual gifts from us as a thank you. For the general favours we are doing dated loveheart sweets, lymphoma cancer pins, some bubbles.
We are donating all leftover budget to a couple of causes too and requesting that rather than giving gifts to us the guests add to the pot instead if they wish to.

you decide on the amount you donate, for the special edition cupcake pins they suggest 2.50 per person but for the regular ones its up to you.
We donated 2.50 per person but thats because we had less people. They send you the pins and print out cards for your place settings saying michaela and spencer have made a donation on your behalf to celebrate their wedding on 6th nov"

It's a charity set up by my nieces BFF parents - they lost their little girl and now support other family's who are losing children. My niece is nearly 5 and her BFF died 2 years ago.
Look it up on google. I prefer the smaller charities and ones that mean something to me are even better :)
