    Hello

I'm thinking of having these as favours for the women

But what about for the men? Has anyone got any ideas?

Well that's what I was going to do but the my mum said what about the men and I thought oh yes they probably wouldn't want a candle and families would end up with 2. I'm so confused.

It is hard! I've been through so many different ideas.. it's hard because not everyone is going to personally like what you give them so it's difficult trying to please everyone. I think we are just going to get the same for everyone.. at the mo I really like the idea of having jars with different pastel coloured lids with pastel coloured sweeties inside - i.e. dolly mix

We gave everyone CDs of music from the ceremony and reception. Each was named, but everyone got the same (except for children who got bubbles), and we didn't worry about couples having two. It's the gesture that's important. Maybe the men could have candles but presented differently, perhaps in a plain holder rather than a flowery bag.

30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.

We are going for kinder eggs. I figure most of the favours get left on tables anyway and it will add a bit of childish fun to the day if everyone has a little toy to make up!

I like Flossie's ideas, esp the miniature spirits/liqueurs. Or maybe something edible?

I found favours really tough as you don't want to spend too much so it's so hard to find suitable things. We ended up doing charity ones (C@nc3r R3s3@rch pins)

I like your idea Elinor about presenting the candle different. I also like the idea of minature spirits or I could do the candles for the women and chocolates for the men.

you dont have to do the men favours, i had a discussion with all my h2b friends and they all said favours were a waste and the last few weddings they went to they didnt do male favours they really wernt bothered

My husband did the favours, I had no involvement. He bought wine stoppers for the men and manicure sets for the women. If it was left to me, I would have bought the same gifts for all, as I'm anti gender stereotype lol.

Your page is restricted too so I can't add you. Mine is set to friends only. If you un-restrict it for 5 mins then I will be able to add you.
